Takeuchi’s new TB250-2 excavator is a true 5-ton excavator that provides multifunction capability for applications such as landscaping, general contracting and rental.
Weighing in at just under 11,000 pounds with a canopy, or 11,288 pounds with a cab, the TB250 has a four-pump hydraulic system to power multiple attachments.

The high flow range is 24.2 gallons per minute, one of the highest hydraulic capacities in this size range. “Most competitors in that size are going to be around 18 to 20 gallons,” Ross added.
This conventional tail-swing excavator is designed for durability, with all-steel construction that will make it a long-lasting addition to your fleet. The wraparound counterweight protects key engine and hydraulic components from damage and adds excellent stability to the TB250.
The spacious automotive-style interior with a high-capacity HVAC system keeps operators comfortable and productive throughout a long shift. Operators can track machine performance and vital stats with a large, multifunction monitor.
The top glass with sunshade improves visibility when the operator is loading trucks or working around overhead obstacles like power lines, and the sunshade reduces glare in the cab.
The TB250-2 is designed for easy maintenance too. The large hoods on the side and back open overhead, making it easy to reach daily inspection points, the battery, and control valves.
