Kubota has introduced its lightest and most maneuverable compact track loader, the SVL65-2. It has many of the same features that make the bigger Kubota compact track loaders popular with contractors, including the slide-up overhead front door and self-leveling capability.

“Its small-but-mighty configuration allows the SVL65-2 to maneuver easily in tight areas. It has a lighter weight for less soil compaction, but still packs a powerful punch in efficiency, making it an ideal choice for landscapers, rental yards and small contractors,” said Tim Boulds, Kubota Construction Equipment product operations manager.

The SVL65-2 is equipped with a 68-horsepower engine that provides plenty of working power. The machine has a rated operating capacity of 2,100 pounds at 35% and 3,000 pounds at 50%. Its reach is 34.9 inches and the hinge pin height is 118.5 inches.

The loader operates smoothly when using simultaneous functions, thanks to the advanced hydraulic multifunction valve. Smooth operation allows your operator to be more productive when using attachments that require auxiliary hydraulics, such as grapple buckets, hydraulic augers, and 4-in-1 buckets.

Kubota’s standard self-leveling feature adds to the smooth operation. The operator simply flips a switch to keep the bucket or forks level without having to manually adjust the angle on the way up.

While the SVL65 has a smaller footprint than Kubota’s other compact loaders—the SVL75-2 and SVL95-2—the cab is just as roomy. There’s a wide door opening so the operator can get in and out easily and safely, and the sliding front door can be opened no matter how the bucket or loader arm is positioned.
